Asthra 2023

• It is an Individual Event
• Duration of the contest will be 1 hr
• 3 coding questions will be given and participants will have to generate the output as what the question demands
• Languages asked will be C and Python
• Prizes will be awarded to participants with the most accurate code and output

• Individual Event
• Consists of basic aptitude questions relating to quantitative and logical problems.
• 2 rounds:prelimanry and finals
• Top 10 of preliminaries advance to final which will be a buzzer beater.

• It is a team-based event of 4 people
• There will be 2 stages: A preliminary round and a final round. Only the top 5 will advance to the final round.
• The preliminary round will consist of puzzles and the final round will be the scavenger hunt where teams follow clues to the final prize
• All participants are not allowed to use phone or smart watch.
• Entry into administrative areas is forbidden.
• Hunt will only happen in Academic and Administrative Block.
• Do not cause damage or obstruction to college property.
• Blind following is generally discouraged
• You will be thoroughly watched by coordinators and will be guided by them.
• Participants cannot consult anyone other than their teams and will be disqualified if caught cheating by any means.

• INDIVIDUAL EVENT
• THERE WILL BE ROUNDS WITH EACH ROUND
• INVOLVING PUZZLES AND GAMES
• EACH ROUND PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ELIMINATED
• UNTIL THE FINAL ROUND WHICH WILL FEATURE ITS
• OWN SET OF RULES AND TWISTS

1. The events are open to higher secondary(11th and 12th),UG and PG
2. The students participating in a team event should be from the same college/school
3. Online and Spot Registrations(until 30 mins before event) will be present. If an event requires registration fees, it must be paid on the day of event.
4. .One participant can partake in any number of events. Participants also have to ensure the events they choose wont clash with either in timing in which case they notify the coordinator
5. All participants are required to carry their college/school ID card at all times.
6. Fest ID cards will also be provided at counter and is required to enter events
7. The participants are expected to report the venue 15 minutes prior the event begins otherwise they stand cancelled
8. Follow the instructions of the event coordinators for the proper conduct of events and approach them for any clarifications
9. The decision of judges/game coordinator will be final and binding.

12. Participants are requested to take care of their personal belongings and the college/fest management are not responsible for any loss or damage
13. In case of misconduct or any indecent behaviour leads to immediate disqualification.
14. Organizers receive the right to cancel any event if minimum number of participants are not available.

1. A group should consist of 7-10 members only(can be mixed)
2. Film songs are not allowed for competition, only non-film Malayalam folk songs can be presented.
3. Karaoke is not allowed
4. Contestants should not make use western instruments in the song. But they can use naadan instruments
5. Duration : 9-10minutes / Warning Bell at 9 minutes.
6. Registration fee per team is 300/-
7. Teams must register by 5th December
8. Teams must report 30 minutes before event and collect chest numbers

• Teams of 2
• Each team will be given the same set of items.
• Using a provided camera each team prepares 30sec-90sec stop motion video in 90 minutes(this includes time for editing)
• Teams will be judged mainly on story and creativity.

1. A team should have 2 members.
2.Members having a mathematical background (having maths as core/complementary) IS MANDATORY.
3.EACH TEAM WILL BE GIVEN A TOPIC AND THEY WILL HAVE 25 MINUTES TO PREPARE.
4. ONE PERSON WILL HAVE TO BE THE 'PRESENTER' WHILE THE OTHER THE 'DEFENDER'.
5. ONCE PREPARATION TIME ENDS,THE PRESENTER WILL PRESENT THE TOPIC FOR 3-5 MINUTES AND THE DEFENDER HAS TO ANSWER THE REBUTTAL QUESTIONS FROM THE JUDGES FOR 3-5 MINS.

1. Open to Regular course students and higher secondary students
2.A team of 2 persons can participate.
3.There will be preliminary rounds(written), From which a total of 6 teams will be selected for the finale round (3 from regular course students and 3 from highersecondary/school level)
4.Registration fee :Rs 100/-.

1. Teams can have a maximum of 8 people. All teams will be judged on the same level
2. It is a mixed dance competition so any type of dance is permitted.
3. Max time permitted per team is 6-8 mins
4. Teams must register by 6th December
5. Registration fee per team is 500/-
6. Teams must provide a USB drive with the song.
7. Teams must report 30 mins before the event and collect chest numbers.
